the group board the ss anne whhere there is a big pokemon party going on with several trainers showing off their pokemon a lot of them recognise ash and ask him to battle some of the trainers he declines but instead shows his pikachus power against his pidgeot in a impressive way. lilashs pikachu notices supicious behaviour by nearby people who are revealed to be team rocket in disguise and they start to attack.

they have to earn the supplies. the opening reward challenge has them digging with chrissy having to make up time with the challenge being won by vatu with flint as the reward. the twist is to earn the camp supplies coach ozzy and q must do a journey with coach sort of cheatnig to get the supplies. angelina tries to prove she changes hope so. jenna targets cirie right away as a threat. ozzy and q are sent to exile island for losing the challenge and won’t return to camp with ozzy getting to keep his vote while q gets the supplies. coach is back to being annoying while devins and christian align and get emily on side. kyle and genivive align with q keeping his lost vote secret but gets into the majority alliance. christian starts fire with glasses while cirie finds out that jenna is throwing her name out and tries to align with ozzy again (3rd time thats happened on 3 seasons in 4 different tribes together (twice on game changers due to a swap). rizzo and colbby have a conversation. kamila tries to get the new era woman and tries to play a dishonest game with tiffany and dee. with a fishing kit already up for grabs the challenge is interupted by kyle hurting his foot while cila lose meaning they don’t get a flint and go to tribal largely due to cirie failing a puzzle she did on australian survivor. savanah is upset about losing as in her season she had won the first challenge interestingly this is a record 4th time cirie has lost the first challenge (only in game changers the exception). cirie and jenna target each other with cirie putting it in her alliance. the tribe votes jenna out 7-1 as an early strategist and threat over cirie. kyle starts feeling a little better but is pulled from the game later in the episode due to his injury ending his hopes of being the new tony (leaving him the only male two time winner). genivive finds the billie eylish idol (there are celebrity camoes from people i have never heard of) which is a boomerang idol which she must give to someone on another tribe but if voted out it goes back to you so it goes to ozzy but rizo spots the idol find. meaning ozzy has a hidden immunity idol for the 3rd time in his history. colby mike and savanah go on a journey colby loses his vote while savanah gets a block a vote (which was used against her last season) nothing happens for mike. but with kyle medivaced theres no immunity.

the group sets up tents to observe pokemon with liko having trouble and a pineco doesn’t help and dot notices a flower tower in the area as they look with florigato not interested and jealous and causes problems but it ends ok.

dot has her test against iono with a battle she researches her opponent before the match while coral tries to observe the test in a weird way. dot battles using quaxly despite a disadvantage but vollyvolt is a very tough foe and already got an advantage but overcomes it to pass the test.

dot prepares in lavincia for a test against iono who has been helping with repairs a bit as the group reunite with the rising volt tacklers they have a battle before the test while dot is nervous as she battles roy but there is an issue with the nidothing costume which quaxly takes and battles a pokemon to get it back succesfully all ending well.

they arrive in artisan for roys test against brasis during an artist festival which they find out is a friend of mr hasle. likos dad alex appears at the festival roy is told to wait for his test. nuoema appears and challenges roy to a battle against pomit which puts foicoco at a disadvantage in the rain. roy is told his battle is postponed as a result neefding a shit of focus. so the group works on art for the festival with roy having trouble with his scuplture. their works are impressive. roy battles brasiss sodowoddo for his test with foicoco with sudowodo using substitute makes it trikcy to hit and than stone edge but foicoco does well against the teristoralised sodowodo and wins passing the test.

they head towards cortando with dot exhausted. they see a lot of bug type around which is the gym leaders type likos nervous about the test. they are supprised to find murdoch at a pastry cafe as he is trying to get money to help with the repairs but he enjoys it. one of the explorers is unhappy about not having enough cake for her who is arguing with the gym leader katie with her tediursa. coral of the explorers is not happy about delays so she challenges liko to a battle who agrees but it is more of a cooking battle. liko does a lot better than coral at making the cake who is so angry she gets her glalie to use blizzard to freeze the room so liko gets to battle katie. with florigato battling a bug type territoizled tediursa which throws florigato off guard with its strategy of charm and sweet scent to throw them off before using slash. even sweent scent stops magical leaf in its tracks but the odd tactic of using magical leaf on the ground works well and then territorilizes to win the battle and pass the test.

liko returns home before going to narjana acedemy where she reunites with roy and dot the later is nervous and they know to keep teparagos having a low profile after a selfie. they met director pavel and gieta who give an overview of their training and explain teristalisation and give them terra orbs they explain their goals. they reunite with neumona who is an ace student they met earlier although dot only just meets her who knows neumona is a champion rank trainer. they also meet two of the elite 4 including rika. there first lesson is in the school yard for exercises and reunite with likos former roommate anne who is studying there they also are told they will battle paldea gym leaders. they also meet the biology teacher who gives them the information on an app and are told to get info on wild pokemon. liko battles annes newly evolved dewott and wins with florigato. as they set off for likos first test in cortando against katie. two of the explorers arrive late for the course. the brave olviine is stilll being fixed.

to celebrate the franchises 30th aniversry i thought id give you a bit of my history with the franchise. i discovered the anime in 2002 when i saw my brother watching the vhs tapes of season 1s episode “attack of the prehistoric pokemon” which was the first anime episode i ever watched i got hooked almost immediately into the series the first season i saw on tv was season 3 which was airing on channel 10 at the time here in australia but for most of the 2000s i watched the episodes on cartoon network on austar which fell behind in episodes by the early 2010s so switched back to watching it on eleveen (10s subsiduary) and later 9go (although got a bit behind in recent series when it aired only really watching horizons lately when they air and then 9go stopped iaring it last year) still watch episodes sometimes on abc (which now has the rights somehow) i also when visiting relatives in italy watched some of the seasons that were airing overthere in 2009 and 2011. my favourite pokemon has always been chikorita the cute johto grass starter. the first movie i watched and still my favourite is spell of the unknown (the third one). i got into the games by accident when flying on singapore airlines they had pokemon gold and yellow on the entertaiment system in 2005 (as well as silver) a couple of months later got my first game boy advance and the first game i owned was saphire. i have owned almost all the main games from the game boy era through to the 3ds era and some of the switch games as well as most mystery dunegon and all the ranger games. gold and its remake heartogld are probably my favourites. pokemon is a big part of why i am an otaku and massive anime fan to another great 30 years for my favourite franchise.

“Dratini”

the dragon is revealed to be a dratini which is being attacked by team rocket ash and lilash focus on protecting it and stopping team rocket when they notice something that the dratini is a shiny and that its trying to help the dragonite but it had been taken so lilash captures the dratini and promises to get dragonite back and something happens that stops team rocket with a weird power. bill suggests they go to the daycare.

“meetnig bill”

bill introduces himself as a pokemaniac who is obsessed with pokemon and had made the storage system lilash is impressed and shows him her pokemon which he says is fine. team rocket than appear and decide to attack the area and state that they have been paid to grab all the pokemon including a rare dragon which appears but its small.

next time a capture and stopping team rocket.

Sydney and brisbane won afl practice games over gws and gold coast respectively. We need to keep compolsory preferentional voting as a fail safe against crazy parties.

an aeroperu 757 prepares to depart lima on october 2 1996 for santiago chillie unde the command of captain eric schriber and fo david fernandez. the fo is doing the radio communcations they take off from runway 15 with 61 passengers and a crew of 9 leaving just after midnight. in the cockpit the fo spots a problem with the altimiters being stuck as well as a windshear warniing confusing the crew which is false then they lose the speed indication. the crew tells the controller that they have an emergency and are told to change frequencies. the captain takes over the controls and request ils approach back at lima and a turn of heading 330 and are heading north and the controller is confused about the altitude and haven’t turned towards the airport as they are staying away from the coast and holding what they think is 10000 feet this is to avoid mountains. no one in the cabin knows whats happening. they start turning north and decide to decend with lower engine power which in this situatiion won’t help as they don’t know their alititude the speed indication is though going up. the speed is confusing and the crew activate the speed breaks which will make things worse and they get an false overspeed warning and than a stall warning which is confusing but maybe right. they request help from another plane and they get info that a 707 will come and try and save them they want to intercept the ils. and they think htey have speed under control and at a safe altitude the later is wrong. the controller says 9700 feet as they get a terrain warning as they hit the water dooming the plane as they turn over into the water killing all 70 people instantly 48 miles from the airport. most fo the bodies are in the bottom of the ocean. the radar track confuses the investigators and its confsuing the altitude. the atc transcript reveals to investigators that the speed and altitude problems were reported. they know of a bergan air crash 8 mounths earlier which makes them think its similar. the wreckage is located at 680 feet in the water the blackboxes are found and the ntsb will look at them and they find they are blocked with silver tape the same color as the plane which would make it difficult to differentiate. miatnece records reveal they had a bird strike on the previous flight which means it had to polished which would lead to problems if not removed. investigators interview the line machnic was sick so a lower worker did it which is easy to miss with the type of tape both he and the captain missed the tape. it was only 200 feet whent he problems started the captain relying on the falty data they stop using the instruments and the pitch and power procedure. they are confused about auto throttle and focus on the failure warnings which were mostly false and meant the autopilot was useless. they look at how they tried to return to lima and make the mistake of slowing down when they think its going faster. the captains confused and the overspeed makes things worse they activate the speed breaks and power cut means they were stalling which leads to the loss of altitude and the ikely crash but they also head further out to sea which is not going to help and the terain alarm is why and was the only correct alarm. thinking they are safe over water which is stupid and not really true. and for a minute they get to an ok altitude but the decision to turn back to lima is right but not to decend yet. the controller reports what he saw on the radar screen which only would lead to more confusion which gave the crew false hope. they look at if they could have saved the plane if they checked the radio altimiter and once they hit the water banking they are doomed but the damage from the inital hitting water was too much. they look into the qhr and aeroperu training and find nothing that could help them which lead to the training working against them.

“sea cottage’

angus meets them as soon as they get to the sea cottage for a match revealing he has also got two badges and says he wants all the pokemon of bills which is not acceptable they battle with anguses diglett losing to lilashs sandshrew annoyed he uses a revive and then gets diglett to earthquake to damage the ground leading to lilashs form changing briefly but doesn’t go unnoticed. they call the police who arrest angus again and they tell him his trainer license could be disqualified if he doesn’t stop bill is revealed to have watched the istuation.

next time meeting bill.

“nugget bridge and cerulean cave”

heading towards bills place they cross the nugget bridge which involves some battles against trainers when the last refuses to battle due to a terrfying loss to a powerful parasect in the nearby cerulean cave they investigate and turns out a legendrys been there causing problems that just left but team rocket try and trap lilash but fails and loses the match.

next time sea cottage rematch.

Carlton stun geelong in practice game. An expansion of the parliamnet is a questionable idea i think its ok. Former albury mayor kylie king may run for farrer. Palastine is finally acknowldged on smart traveller. Survivor 50 prenieres today but in australia you need the sreaming service stan for some reason instead of it airing on channel 9 as it has for two decades.

borneo season 1 –

its a great introduction to the series. kellys immunity run is still impressive it is great to have a 70 plus guy make the final 3 (when it was a final 2). there was issues that don’t suit well now like gervases sexist joke and richards nudity. the emotional moment of jenna not getting a video from home. average. sues rat and snakes speech is awful and rude. alphabet voting is stupid.

australian outback season 2 –

i am in the minority compared to people in 2001 in my views of the fact that jerri not tina is considered the original viloneess (or even sue from borneo). colby is not a hero compared to even jerri in terms of game play and is one of the most delusional in his views (will be interesting in 50). this is the worse season of varner (except his boot moments in game changers). the tie breaker of past votes lead to bad outcomes for me both times this season. skupin failling in the fire was a big game changer and while he was this seasons worse outside of the game (he got in major legal trouble). the treatment of kimmi over her vegertarian is not fair (and the fact that the gross food challenge was done the way it was didn’t help) and the chicken reward. its interesting one of the most famous players amber plays this season and is almost invisible is weird. in a season with lack of really good people id say rodgers the only one who made a deep run who i wouldn’t question. below average.

africa season 3 –

ethan was for a while the winner id say was my favourtie for a while at this point (ironically his ex girl friend jenna is the one who competely userps him although vecepia is about equal). lex is in the top 10 most disliked players for me of all time (i will get around to writing the list at some point) due to his hypocracy and annoyingness yet its production that cost him the game in the finale twice. the cast is very dislikeable other than the final 2 and a few non-factors and interestingly the last two good femals are named kim (not a teresa fan much and like tina and probably colby is not a hero). facts that the challlenges are interesting but the tie breaker nature quiz is weird. franks views are just awful. the swap was not helpful. slightly above average.

marquesas season 4 –

the debut of boston rob who ends up being the merge boot first player who 100% is agreed as a villian and he is. the weird fact that the tribes are mismatched even after a swap. kathys a lot better here and sean should get another chance. zoe is just odd. the fact that the game changed complelty at the final 9 and vecepia is a good winner mostly. the rock draw twist is not fair in this case but it should be used for genuine ties (ie final 6 micronesia final 12 south pacific where so called hero cirie and cocheran got out of it). the challenges were dull and basic. its good in the early days to have two late game runs by african americans with a older guy also making the final 4 and never being voted for. average.

thailand season 5 –

awful just awful bad cast a guy who should have been given the dan spilo treatemtn (ted) one of the most disliked winners all round (brian) who barely beats clay who wasn’t any better. the pre merge auction is a odd twist while the fake merge is just wrong and unfair in a lot of ways. robb is not that entertaining but he is interesting shii ann is ok but really after ken goes only the seasons oldest (jake and jan are ok). the shows treatment of ghandia is awful. ted never has a positive moment (even dan spolio has one) for me. awful

amazon season 6

as said earlier jenna took the lead for my personal favourite winner at this point and her 4 immunity wins is still never beaten by a woman (unless you count final 4 fire making so id see an argument for savanah). rob c is a pretty big villian as much as like his podcast in that world to me he is a survivor eddie mcguire (someone you don’t mind the podcast but hate where his start is from). the men v woman twist is not that fair but it doesn’t lead to a blowout some challenges are disturbing. the cast is better than ones before although christys treatments not good due to her being deaf. how butch makes final 4 is a supprise as he had no alliance sort of at final 8. ok season. average

pearl islands season 7 –

a popular season that has a problem with the outcast twist which is possibly the worse season to have the twist as one of the comebacks threw a challenge and it was last minute with advantages. sandras debut season she earns the win darah is underrated especially in challenges fairplay and burton are two of the biggest villians with savage is not someone i like but did himself in costing his alliance of more likeable people although this is a good cast. above average.

all stars season 8 –

the casting is ok with a few supprises and the fact that the final 3 had the smallest profiles coming in (except maybe alicia). the richard/sue incident is just awful and at least richard is the only abuser to be eliminated in the episode it happened (no connection to why he loses and that incident is the only reason i don’t like him). colby is still irritating but lex and kathy espeically the former is just awful and hypocritical. the fact that the succesful players were all targeted early (really the first 8 boots had the biggest targets coming in except sue (who quit) the 4 winners highest finisher and the runner up with the most immunity wins and the oldest player. challenges are ok. average

vanautu season 9 –

the 2nd men v woman season full of villians and people i don’t like taking control late and one of the least deserved winners in terms of most of the game but the more likeable finalist as twila is just annoying (so was scout and eliza the last 4). ami maybe a villian but is more likeable than most of the merge cast while leann is an underrated figure head and julies unlucky. the strong guys going home early isn’t good especially since you have the dangerous rory and the strategically stupid bubboa (could look up his accutal name but won’t). chad does well for disibillity representation as does ami and to a lesser extent scout for lghtbiq (have no idea what the term is anymore) people. double boot not really a fair twist normally. average

palau season 10

every premerge immunity won by one tribe is crazy the cruel twist of how angie loses is wrong in a lot of ways ulong does ok until that point in booting players and than make a couple of bad moves that doomed the already doomed. toms dominance is obvious and earned the win. sad that two players who i liked jenn and angie will never return hope there in heaven. the challenges are good. coby maybe the 2nd dumbest (after brandon from season 3 ) of the lgtibq movement. ok season

gutamala season 11 –

the first captain season is ok with a good final 2 but the last two boots damage the season. while danis underdog story is good and earned the win stephenie played a good game. jamie and judd are iritating and brian is not that good the location and having a pool is a highlight. slightly above average.

panama sesaon 12

an ok season overrated with me being in the minority of liking some of the la mina players with players like shane being annoying border line crazy as well as a villian while cirie i put as a villian i get why she is popular and a big strategist but is overrated a bit she never got to the end due to weird twists but would was never certain to win any sesaon shes been in. terry is definaetly a hero and a good challenge beast. danielle and aras are an ok final 2 but i don’t see what aras did to win the game. average.

cook islnds season 13

a bad season and really other than ozzy the aitu alliance aren’t liked much by me (and ozzy is more from other seasons) while i like the underdog story its overrated personalities. penner is in my worse 10 players he is irritating and not good. yul did a good job for representation but the overpowered idol sort of was why he won. becky makes me wonder why this season started final 3 as she had no chance and only got their in the most boring fire making challenge. the race twist is ok and adam is better than his reputation and more honest. below average.

fiji season 14

despite earl being a desereved and well liked winner his alliance is not likeable especially dreamz who snuck his way to the end and reminds me of phillip in terms of annoying player cut in the alliance queque. the all african final 3 is interestnig and good for diversity but the have have not twist is just awful and rocky is barely more good than antony and really so many awful players yau-man almost should have ben disqualified for the way he touched sylvia in episode 2 and the car deal is crazy but props to him for the first succesful idol play. below average.

china season 15

jean robert is in the should have been disqualified cratageory for the way he touched woman. todd is someone i can’t stand much while denise isn’t that likeable due to her after the show actions. amanda is an underrated player being one of a few players to make the end twice (of the players who haven’t won at this point the only one to make the end twice and the merge in another season). the location is good and some good players. slightly above average. james being voted out with two idols is a negative on hte season.

micronesia season 16

a poor twist and overrated as an ozzy fan didn’t like the boot but the erik move is the most legendry dumb move. some of the other stupid moves such as joel keeping tracy and chet over mary and mikey only to be voted out next makes him iritating penner is still awful but sad how he went out also james medivac was sad. the smallest reputations making the end was a great twist but amanda unlucky again. the suprise final 2 didn’t fully screw over cirie as i don’t know if she had the 3 votes she needed but would have been historic to have a final 3 with all finalists getting 2 votes out of 7. below average.

gabon season 17

location good cast disappointing and really sugar (the contestant) makes the season better and interesting. the blowout pre swap and the annoyingnance of cyrstal hurts the pre merge. bobs underdog win storys good. susie was largely invisible other than the marcus boot. corine and randy are quite annoying as is ken. below average.

tocantins season 18

overrated by a mile coach is another top 10 candidate for bad he and tyson are bullies (debbie sort of is as well). sierra had a really awful treatment. jt earned the win. an poor season. below average.

samoa season 19

first season i watched live and one of my underrated favourites an good cast underutilized weird one off challenges underrated winner in natalie. a great underdog story in foa foa a big villian russell whose likeable sort of. a sad medivac of the other russell changed everything and the underrated erik not playing his idol and getting voted out,. above average.

heroes vs villians season 20.

good cast and a good season mostly but sandra didn’t deserve a 2nd win and the tribe allocations was controversal going into the season parvati was more of a hero than two players (cirie and candice) she had played with this season earned her the villian title. sad that james got injured again and the stupidity of the heroes is crazy. above average.

nicragua season 21

a season i don’t like naonka is a bottom 5 female marty is just iritating and the chess lie hurts him for me. brenda is a player i really like but after that there mostly dislikeable or forgettable players or villians. fabio earned the win despite being controversal due to the quitters making the difference. below average.

redemption island season 22

one of my most hated seasons rob and russell didn’t need to come back and the throwing a challenge to get rid of the later was unfair and stupid. phillip is my most hated player ever and is very dangerous to everyone. ometepe alliance (not using phillips nickname) are mostly forgettable at least ashley put up a fight late and andreas better in later seasons but still not good. zapatera all respect for them gone due to throwing the challenge. one of the worse.

south pacific season 23

similar to redemption island had the same twist and really other than ozzy no one who made a deep run i liked. cocheran, brandon, coach, edna and albert making the family the worse core alliance at the time. not much to say here christines underdog story was good as was ozzys sophie earned the win, one of the worse.

one world season 24

not a good season but one that acctually i like more than the seasons around it colton is irritating as is chelsea. lief is forgettable troyzan is underrated kim deserved the win and dominated sabrina is underrated as is alicia. christina got lucky a few times. the twist is largely forgettable and kats interesting. below average.

phillapines season 25

a mixed cast had two personal favourites malcolm and rc mixed with some of the most dislikeable run of players including penner (for the 3rd time) and abi maria as well as artis and pete. good final 3 on paper with denise earning the win going to every tribal but the unlikeable bits bring it donw. below average.

caramoan season 26

2nd worse season and its not even close malcolms double idol play to get out phillip only highlight 2nd worse cast with many tarnishing their reputation or just making it worse ie phillip and brandon. cocheran earned the win and other than reynold and eddie the fans were forgettable. one of the worse.

blood vs wtaer season 27

one of the more exciting seasons especially the rock draw tyson somehow the most likeable of the final 3 earned the win but the late games returnees weren’t likeable much (even though it was the most i liked of tyson and tina yet). the new players were quite likeable and sad we won’t see caleb again. above average.

cagayan season 28

overrated cast everyone except kass and maybe woo who made the merge unlikeable or forgettable (the later being only the whole beauty tribe). tony played a great game and earned the win the last final 2. trish is another player like phillip whose mental treatment could have got her disqualified. below average.

suan juan del sur season 29

the debut of wentworth and keith (rip the later) is a good season mostly but one i personally say had the wrong winner jaclyn was the most consistant and had bad luck several times while natalie really didn’t do anything before the final 9 noteworthy. ont he plus sided ended an annoying bullying challenge. above average.

worlds apart season 30

bottom 5 if it wasn’t for an idol play and mike unlikeable cast and not much else to say will is another phillip type player in terms of how his game went. below average

cambodia season 31

fair twist excelt how the final 6 vote went should have gone to fire making kimmis underrated wentworth proved herself jeremy earned the win spencer and tasha can’t stand them at all and some good moves. average.

kaoh rong season 32

michellee earned the win and is one of my favourite winners aubry would have been the merge boot and michelle would have gone if not for medivacs. the super idol misplays interesting but the bullying of the brawns against alicia hurts this season and debbies just iritating. below average

milinials vs gen x season 33

adam is probably favourite modern male winner and jays good but another season of late game forgettable or annoying players (although my thoughts on bret are largely affected by his amazing race appearence). the rock draw was an exciting supprise but hannahs annoying and david overrated. below average.

game changers season 34

don’t hate the cast as many do but a negative season with how some of the players i liked went out an ok season. ok season

heroes vs healers vs hustlers season 35

stupidest name worse winner worse twist despite some likeable players not a good season. below average.

ghost island season 36

personally i don’t have a problem with this season as the only really annoying player didn’t make the merge and the next worse went out in 11th like the ending. above average.

david vs goliath season 37

most hated female player debuts (angelina) who pretty much ruins the season (that and the idol nulifier being used on dan). ok otherwise. below average.

edge of extinction season 38

introduced to a top 5 one time player (lauren) and some other likeable newbies who didn’t get enough air time (victoria, auoura, gavin) but ruined by its finale and not a ron or wardog fan or devens. average.

island of the idols season 39

three words dan worse seaosn. worse season

winners at war season 40

good season was ok with the big names leaving early and tony earned the win my main problem was natalie stealing 2nd from michelle. above average.

41 season 41

a little underrated erica deserved the win but that and the ua tribe and xander were the onlt memorable post merge players. below average

42 season 42

ok season overrated slightly. a bit of a weird early merge stretch. average

43 season 43

one of the better new era seasons jesse is a great player as is cassidy. above average.

44 season 44

overrated and not a tika 3 fan. below average.

45 season 45

too boring early and ruins the shot in the dark effect but ok. ok

46 season 46

not really much to say on this season but q and liz bring it down and the final 5 immunity. below averag.e

47 season 47

rachels post merge dominance brings it up. above average.

48 season 48

first sesaon to feature an autstic player eva is a big plus and underrated. above average.

49 season 49

a good season thanks to rizzo. above average.

“vs misty’

lilash is ready to battle misty in a two on two match she starts with bulbasaur which beats psyduck but struggles against gyrados so she switches to piakchu who wins easily giving her the cascade badge in a impressive match. they are told about the pokemaniac bill to visit on the cape.

“meeting misty”

on arrival in cerulean they meet misty who ash knows as the gym leader who is having issues maintaining the gym due to her sisters having issues so they talk to them and find that team rocket have been interfering with the system and finances but they are stopped leading to lilash ready to battle misty for her 2nd badge.

the nrl starts sunday for 2026 so here is my tips for the vegas games.

newcastle v north queensland sunday the knights have been all over the place in recent years but often struggle cowboys showed some skill in practice games and i think the cowboys just.

bulldogs v dragons sunday the dragons aren’t expected to contend while the bulldogs were one of last years improvers and are expeceted to contend. tip bulldogs

The lodge was evacuated due to a sscurity scare.

Beyblade x season 2 has been fully released on prime video with the season premiering on tv on 9go tomarrow as well.

“weird trainer battle”‘

on the way to cerulean they are challenged to a double battle by a boy named roy who had been told by someone to test lilash with help from dot it seems they are holding back though as the pikachu are too good for them he revealed that there is a lot of interest in them from people and as they leave an angry angus appears having escaped and insists on roy training him he says no because of his reputation so they battle which is a mismatch. lilash meanwhile finds an ill sandshrew and recovers it and catches it they arrive in cerulean.

“angry angus”

heading towards cerulean having left mount moon when they run into angus who challenges lilash to a battle turning into an eevee battle which ends with lilashs winning convincingly angry angus decides to convince ash to help him he refuses annoyed he tries to get others involved failing he grabs lillie and tries to kidnap her but it doesn’t go well as officer jenny appears and arrests him. jenny than says she was looking for ash and friends over an assingment to be honoary police officers as they understand team rocket better than anyone but don’t have any extra jobs they agree.

next time weird trainer battle.

Rumors that liberal senator alex antic will join one nation isnt helping anyone.

“saving the moonstone”

the eevee distracts them enough that lilash and the group recover and are able to stop them just revealing more suprising facts about lilash who reveals a unique skill. she finally catches the eevee after several attempts earlier and then the mysterious girl from earlier appears and says that lilash is part of a legend but leaves before revealing more. lilash reveals that when in danger or sick weird things happen to her and thats why she was briefly in her pikachu form. ash says lilashs sister had similar skills when asked by lillie they tell her about the other lillie (lilashs sister) and that doesn’t upset anyone.

“a suprise”

team rocket are already trying to move the moon stone but are having trouble. they decide to try and battle them but team rocket have another plan and decide to threaten to use the moon stone and their strong pokemon to attack them when a rock slide starts heading towards lilash scaring her ash tries to get his pokemon to save her. but when it clears she is missing for a minute with a pikachu in her place than returns to normal but is quite weak. team rocket try and flee but can’t get past the eevee.

next time getting the moon stone back.

A luthtansa flight had its passengers left on a plane overnight in munich going nowhere after being cancelled due to the bus drivers going home poor organisation and the stupid airport curfew in munich. By elections should only be for emergencies i agree with jeff kenett they should be fased out. Marriners beat wandrers 3-2 in a league. Liverpool beat forest 1-0 in epl.

matthew 4 1-11

this is the story of how jesus avoided temptation in the desert from the devil who tries and uses scripture against him which doesn’t work the meaning of this story is that you should avoid the devils temptaiions and that the aim for lent is to prepare for easter as well as not being obsessed with material possessions. it is also important to not misinterpret the bible or use its teachings in the wrong way.

“mount moon part 1”

they start the treck through mount moon after healing when they hear rumors about team rocket are in the area as well as the clafairy. they find out they are beieng followed and it turns out to be the same eevee as before as lilash tries to catch it but are again interupted this time by confusing zubat who supersonic but pikachu shocks the zubat. but the eevee is missing again they head deeper when they spot a clafairy and follow it but team rocket beat them to the moon stone.

next time saving the moon stone and will lilash get eevee.

“heading towards the mountains’

heading towards mount moon the path is blocked by some geodude rolling down the mountain which is causing issues for the locals they are able to stop them using bulbasaurs grass moves which impresses a wild eevee which lilash befriends and asks if it wants to join but team rocket attack and they get seperated but ash had given lilash a rotom phone in case this happened and gives good advise but the geodude return and are stopped by a wild squirtle who lilash catches.

next time mount moon.

lilash runs into a bug catcher and on ash’s idea battles it with nidoran beating his caterpie with help from the poision point abillity. the trainer suggests she find another pokemon to take on the first gym leader as all her pokemon are weak to rock types which ash agreees but there is another way to get an advantage. they work on teaching lilashs pikachu iron tail as well as nidoran double kick but it will work.

early afternoon in the sahara desert air algerie flight 6289 prepares to depart tamrasad airport in remote algeria with 97 passengers and 6 crew majority of which is algerian. as the crew go through the pre flight checks the plane is a 737-200. the wind is calm as they prepare for takeoff as they prepare to start the engines with the fo being the countries first female pilots despite being 44 in 2003. as they request clearence the crew are told about the soccer players in the back the captain is 48 and highly experienced. at 3pm they start the engines with 9800 kgs of fuel. the flight from tamarasat to shardaia and algeris with 3 hours flying time. they are cleared to depart runway 02 after back tracking. as they takeoff but almost immediately after they get airborne a loud explosion rocks the airplane and the captain insists on letting go of the controls but think hteres no problem until it stalls suddenly meanging they are too slow and the plane is already doomed and free falls to the ground almost imediately. the emergency response is immediate but only 1 person survives who was seated at the back without a seatbelt and thrown free but he survives the ordeal. the accident was the worse at the time in algeria with the loss of the football squad increase the tragedies releevance. the crew didn’t really announce the problem to the controller who noticed the explosion sound. the worry of it being terroism is clear as they were just out of a civial war but it was not the case. witnesses report the nose high pitch and the stall was obvious. the ntsb help the algerians with the investigation. they notice the gear was down despite them climbing. they check the load sheets abd find the fo made some corrections to the fuel weight which is understandable but they are in the safe limits which indicates she was attentive and wasn’t a worry. the maitence was up to date and no technical exemptions and they look at the weather which was a high 23 degrees with the desert and the altitude 4580 feet which is high for hot weather which combined could be a conern but the explosion makes that theroy unlikely. the wreckage is less than 300 feet from the airport with the rear section seperated and find engine debris on the runway. they look at which engine might have failed with the left engine was torn apart which means it failed and find engine blades had ended up on the runway. they find a fatigue cracks in the left engines and look at why it wasn’t caught earlier as it was an older engine and find it was overhauled 4 years ago with the hot section the year before with no proof of the fatigue cracks. the crews training is looked at and find they both had been trained within 4 months of the crash in engine failures. they find the engine failing was 5 seconds after takeoff when the fo requested gear up and the captain tells the fo to let him control and told her to let go of them which is alarming as the captain was the pilot monitoring and the fo realises they aren’t properally configured and the captain doesn’t responed and then the stall happens after she says theres a small problems and they don’t work together with the captain being authterian and being demanding and not letting the fo try and save the plane which doesn’t help with the crm (crew resource management). they don’t get a mention of engine failure. the fdr was an older model and doesn’t say anything and they have to go to boeing to get a better analysis. the data from the right engine flactuated which confuses the investigators which explains the fos comments because of the captains comments this leads to the stall as one engine not at full power can’t provide enough thrust at low altitude. the captains way of being demanding and not letting the fo help was a big factor and he even reduces thrust with the gear down dooming the flight. they find the fo was doing the pre flight work aithout the captain which is unusual and not really proper he only enters the cockpit after that as he was late. the third voice confuses investigates which is the chief and shouldn’t be in the cockpit at this point really and they talk about the soccer players instead of focusing on the pretakeoff speed recomendations and he even cuts her off before she finishes it. the crew were distracted and having non esentional conversations with the captain being too casual and even talking to the flight attendnat more then focusing on the briefing, the captain was trying to do everything himself which is never going to help which is too much for one man to handle leading to the fo not being able to do anything. the pilot was also trained on a 767 which is more suffisticated and the fo is more experienced and only flew the 737 so she should have flown the plane out of the problem. they discuss misagonyism as a factor and she was the first female pilot in the country so there was a lot of concern about that.

the exhibition match sees ash take on a trainer named deno whose known as one ff the best trainers from kanto a few years ago who uses a dragonite which ash’s pikachu beats narrowly impressing lilash’s pikachu who watches the match to learn skills. deno says hope they battle some time again. lilash trains her pikachu with ash’s when the center is attacked by team rocket which isn’t hard to stop with help from a mysterious girl. they head for viridian forest.

arriving in viridian they head for the pokemon center and see a trainer abandonig her nidoran female as it had just lost a battle which upsets them and after taking it to nurse joy with healing pikachu as well. ash gives lilash advise on how to handle nidoran to try and get it to calm down it takes some effort but she wins it over and catches it. ash is then asked to participate in an exhibition match which he agrees. team rocket are given a job to try and keep an eye on lilash for some reason.

on their way towards viridian city ash gives lilash advise on catching and battling before they encounter a pidgey a flying type pokemon which she asks pikachu to battle but the pidgey is just a little bit too fast for it not discouraged yet she gets pikachu to aim its attack a little better but still doesn’t succeed. a nearby boy is laughing at her revealed to be sakiras brother angus who agrees to a battle with his eevee the only pokemon he had at this point. the battle is tight and ends a draw which only annoys angus who makes demands but lilash and ash are already heading to the pokemon center in viridian.

air blue flight 202 is on its way to islambad and is on decent to the airport with 146 passengers and 6 crew on the a321 and are expected to do a circling approach to runway 12 with the experienced captain named chowdrey who is near the end of his carrer. the fo is a former air force leader. the plane is cleared to 3900 feet. islamabad is surrended by the himalyas and they must approach from the south due to the winds they must do a complicated visual approach. thick clouds are causing problems and diversions. they are less than 10 minutes from landing and are on decent lowering the gear and are at the minimums heading 352. they launch their first turn and need to keep visual. the controller is expecting to see the lights when he gets a call but they are told their approaching the no fly zone and are told they are north and turn left. and are told to do a missed approach but they don’t respond for a while and the controller is nervous though but they aren’t turning and are headnig for the mountains and are struggling to turn left. the gpws sounds saying terraibut the plane can’t turn and are out of control even the passengers are aware heading towards magala hills and they are decending at the wrong moment crashing killing all on board 7 miles from the airport at an alittude of nearly 3000 feet. rescuers find complete devistation, the engines were fully functional at the time of impact. and the tabilizer and gear was normal and were climbing at full power. the weather is a suspect but wasn’t dangerous but challenging but they should have known the hills and should not go too far north of the runway that far. the controller says the pilots understood the approach which requires visiual the whole time. the controller waa worried about the plane not being spooted flying and asks if they had visual with the ground they said yes but kept flying away and he had warned many time sbut the pilots ignored it or didn’t react. they look inton the pilots and the captain had over 40 years flying but not much airbus experience the fo being an ex fighter pilot and had less experience on the airbus. they look at the approach and after the first turn they flew the wrong way into the mountains. the gpws should have warned them a minute before the crash and it did but they misreacted to the 21 warnings. the investigation is supprised that the captain was putting way points into the system to do the approach and are told about the pia 737 landing safely and the china southern diversion. but they start the turn late. the captain switches to nav mode which is not what they are supposed to and is violation of procedures the fo is concerned about this thinking the captain has a visual and they don’t and he ignores the fos warnings and the captain falls to turn away which concerns the controller and the fo even asks the captain what to tell them and the captain says they are visual with the ground which is not helpful and the captain ignores the fos warnings and doesn’t react properally. the fo keeps warning him about going down and the terain but he ignores it. the captain had put an alittude in that was illegal in these conditions without the runway in sight which is not legal. the captains decision to switch modes on autopilot was a big error which was switching from heading to nav mode which put them dangerously close to the mountains into a no fly zone. the captains directions werne’t right due to the autopilot because of the mode and didn’t switch it and when he corrects it the plane turns right not left due to his last imput which he should have done manually leading to questions on the fos actions and look at the start of the flight. the captain asks a question that confuses the fo with a question and critiercises him from less experience with berating which is not crew resource managemnt it is to the point of bullying which discoraged the fo to the point of torture with the questions. they also find the captain had diabettes and hyper tension as well as difficult but not at this level. they consider the fos background and a hidden rivaliry. the berating meant the fo couldn’t do anything without being risked of being berated.

a fairchild metroliner departs hanover for dusseldorf on febuary 8 1988 just before dawn with a young crew with 2500 hours flying planes. the weather forecast is good apart from thunderstorms near landing but only 10 percent chance. the plane is deiced with 19 passengers on board and no flight attendant. the plane takes off at 715am 15 minutes late. 10 minutes after takeoff they are at curising altitude of 14000 feet for 15 minutes. the crew notice weather on the radar and they check the atis. despite the weather they think they will be landing in 15 minutes. they are 3rd in queque and are cleared to 3000 feet. 3 miuntes later they are on the localizer and are lined up with the center line they check the weather and a thunderstorm is right in front of them. they are handed to tower control but they diseapear from radar and are out of control but barely recover a mimute later th eplane is even more out of control and breaks up in flight killing all on board. the aircraft had old black boxes which didn’t help the investigation. the wreckage indicates an in flight break up and they are convinced of this. it looked like an overload fracture the flight path seemed normal until the last few minutes when they flew eractically causing the overload. the controller reports the tunderstorms that they encounter as well as moderate icing and turbullance but no other go arounds but a plane did get hit by lightning 6 miles from the field from a luthtansa 737. but lightning can’t bring a plane down these days and the crew knew about it so the weather likely wasn’t the cause. they find the black boxes failed as it started flying eractically meaning a power failure. the likelihood is very low but is possible and look at it effecting the instruments which makes them think they couldn’t see the instrument due to lighting. they look at the light bulbs they find that they were broken so it was a total power failure they suspect the lightning. they find evidence of lighting strike and figure out it was from the left side of the fuelasage forward of the wing and find the power lines were just behind that spot. they find no evidencce of electrical overload or arcing. they look at the diodes and they check if its working and find no difference in the low resistence on the flow. but they find the cracks in the diode and figure out that 1000 volts is requireed for it to crack and it was clearly lightning which is much more powerful but the odds are next to impossible. they also look into the why the crew flew into the storm which is against policy. the cvr says that the crew figurd out the weather half way through but thinks it wasn’t looking too bad and the atis didn’t say anthing so the crew thought they were fine and assume best case secnario. 11 minutes later they are told about the lightning strike the crew should have aborted the landing but they didn’t as they thought it looked ok and then break the sterile cockpit rule. they notice they are left of the center line on the captains insisstance and the fo is insisiting on landing and is confused at the captains instructions so the captain turns straight into the thunderstorm. they look into the pilots records and find the captain was the less experienced on the type then the fo this leads to distrust between the pilots. there is confusion over how the pilots handled the alittude just before the power failure. the captain rushes the flap settings causing the plane to climb leading to more errors by the captain on the controls causing a nose heavy position when they got hit by the lightning and the captain wasn’t prepared and there is nothing in the manual for this. they couldn’t even communicate with the power failure and the noisy cockpit meaning they were doomed even with controls and engine power but itt would have been near impossible to control. this meant the plane was out of control and broke up. the main conclusion is that it was pilot error.

a atr 72 is approaching phakuru airport in nepal for yeti airlines in the himilaya mountains with a passenger filiming the flight as they decend through 12500 feet for the airport with an experienced crew in clear conditions and they expect a visual landing the captain is the widow of another pilot but the captain a woman isn’t expereinced in the aircraft. the crew are told to expect runway 12 for landing and are cleared for the approach. the passenger who is live streaming is indian and this is highly unusal. they have to avoid mountains in the area but they are visiual and are in sight. less than two minutes from the airport and configure the landing gear and disconnect auto pillot and start a cruical turn and set the flaps and only a minute form touchdown go through the checklist. just as they are about to land the fo realises the engines have no power all of a sudden and they won’t get any power 400 feet from the ground. the crew realise it is serious even pushing the engines to the limit but there is no torq a key indication the fo takes control as the more experienced pilot and they stall and crash just short of the runway and the crash it self somehow was live streamed but the streamer the pilots and everyone else is dead. only 1 body isn’t identified. it was the deadliest crash of the airline. the wreckage and the black boxes are sent to france and singapore due to nepals limited facitilies. they look at the orientation of the aircraft and find the left wing hit the ground first. the crash itself going viral in a video showing the left wing had already lost lift and was banking at the time of the crash indicating a stall. the design of the approach is also a concern as they were on their last left turn making them worried but it isn’t the crew mishandling the turn. matience checks out and the controller didn’t know anything and he didn’t know anything was wrong till the crash itself and an alarm in the tower the controller even asks the investigator what he thinks happened. a witness who is an enginneer reports the propeller spinning very slow at the time of the crash a key lead and it sounds like engine failure. investigators notice on a propeller hub that it looks feathured which means it isn’t working as they aren’t producing thrust and was stuck there but not all the propellers are which makes them think is an automatic resposnse to a failure. but the auto feather didn’t activate meaning a pilot did. they look at the engine controls they find the witness marks that the controls were positioned at that position on the left side but not the right. the fdr is required to settle the debate and the results are shocking with the engines at idol but key indications dropped a minue before the crash. they need to figure out how they made the mistake. they look at the cvr and find they were feathured when the auto pilot was disconnected and were on decent but figure out the pilot did it when he was supposed to change the flaps. they look into the pilots and find they weren’t drunk at the time of the crash. they look into fatigue and find they had adequette rest and no medical issues and find the controls are confusing. think they could have messed up which is which. the last minute runway change which at a new airport is supicious as the fo was instructing the captain about the new airport and also he made the error. even though they could have recovered the crew didn’t follow the checklist. the crew knew the engines had problems but didn’t figure out the real problem.

windroe flight 836 is heading to an airport in the norweigan sea its a twin otter to vaeroy airport on approach to runway 25 with 11 people on board. it was the only time the captqain flew into the airport as the crew prepare to land they know the airport has unpredictable winds they have the runway in sight it hits turbulance and the captain takes control and they do a go around but they hit a downdraft and its tough to recover and they roll over heading towards the mountains but barely recover but the pilots are exhausted and decide to divert to rust this leads to a safe landing somehow with the pilots upset at what happened and they try and make the airport safer with wind speed limits and install wind speed monitors but this doesn’t stop another accident for the airline flight 839 takes off from the airport on easter weekeend 1990 with only 5 people on board cleared to 5000 feet with 34 knot gusts as they take off at 243pm as they raise the flaps 10 seconds after takeoff a strange noise is heard and this leads to control issues which they can’t identify and the nose drops sealing the fate of all on board 63 seconds after takeoff.only 6 and a half kms from the airport the captains remains are never found. an investigator from canda is shocked at the closeness of the mountains. the controller doesn’t report anything wrong and a short turn around of 15 minutes and she explains the winds and they turned into the clouds just before they crashed and a distresss signal and a bang. the impact way was obvious from the wreckage as it was nose first it wasn’t engine failure. they suspect correctly its a problem in the tail but initally suspect it was in the crash but there is an issue with the connecting rod and send it to metalurgy. they look into the planes history and it was purchased 14 years ago with maitence day of hte crash with no issue. there was confusion over the banding from sideways bending which is highly unusal making them think it broke in flight uncontroably which caused the elevator to break in flight. the cvr reveals when it broke as the flaps went up the crew knew something was wrong immediately and they can’t figure out the source of a cllattering sound they also notice that the propellers are out of sync and it was obviously turbulance from the wind and the crash was only 10 seconds after the upset so the crew had no chance. the mountains and winds are suspected and they investigate it and look into the near miss 15 mounths earlier that recovered which was a similar altitude. they figure out there were no wind readings on the mountain at the time of the crash as it was taken down due to repair and never reinstalled and was taken out of service 3 days before the accident meaning that taking off was risky and out of range. the crew would have been nervous with the limits being out of limits. but decide to take off when its calm according to the wind socks and the weather clearing. and figure out the winds were strong enough to destroy the plane. they consider get there itis as a cause that they wanted to get home quickly. the airlines decision to cancel flights due to the wind change was also a factor and the passengers weren’t happy with goverenment also paying them to fly there and bribed them to keep the flights going. they question the airport being built there which was only 4 years before the crash in fact the airline did not recomend it but the goverenment did. the airport has shut as a result of the crash and is the shortest lived airport probably in the world.
